On the occasion of the first year anniversary of FOVEA, we will be opening Dispatches from the Frontlines, 12 Women Photojournalists, and having an
all day celebration including the first in the outdoor projection series –
Projected Jazz. Alto saxophonist Dave Bixler, a veteran of the New York
Jazz scene and the band—Scott Wendholt on trumpet, John Hart on guitar,
Ugonnna Ugekwo on bass, and Andy Watson on drums—craft their playing with
the song in mind, are known for their rhythmic backbone and emotional
nuance. Bring blankets and chairs every Second Saturday this summer to
see extraordinary photography.
